Similarly, another enterprise that also plans to expand its factory in 2022 is Nhat Nam Mechanical Co., Ltd. More than US$1.5 million has been invested by enterprises for the second factory with a production floor area of ​​more than 4,000 m2, not far from the old production area. Although somewhat interrupted by the epidemic, the preparations to put the new factory into operation are also very active.

For Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd., during the epidemic months, Mr. Dang Tuong Khanh, the company's director also worked hard to survey the Central Highlands to implement the strategy of expanding the raw material supply area of ​​the company. According to Mr. Khanh, expanding the raw material area is the company's long-term direction. The impact of the epidemic shows that the world's cocoa raw materials are forecast to have ups and downs. In the future, in addition to the Southeast region, Dong Nai is the mainstay, Trong Duc intends to expand the raw material area to many other provinces and cities in the Central Highlands, the Central region and the whole country of Laos.

According to the Dong Nai Statistics Department, in 2021, despite many difficulties, in general, enterprises also make efforts to invest capital to implement their production and business plans. In the past year, the total domestic investment capital registered for investment certificates, investment policies and adjusted to increase capital was more than VND13.3 trillion. Total registered capital for new establishment of non-state enterprises and additional capital increase is more than VND93.2 trillion, up 7.4% compared to 2020. Of which, there are 2.9 thousand newly registered enterprises and 946 Enterprises register to increase additional capital. Although in general, the capital that enterprises add to the economy did not reach the same high level as the previous year, these figures show the efforts of enterprises after a volatile year.

One of the industries that still maintains its "performance" in the past year is wood production and processing. According to Mr. Vo Quang Ha, General Director of Tan Vinh Cuu Joint Stock Company, experienced many ups and downs due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but wood industry enterprises have tried their best. In 2021, Dong Nai province's export turnover of wood and wood products will reach US$1.86 billion, up 10.8% compared to 2020, ranking the 4th in the group of products with the highest export turnover of the province and ranked the 2nd in the country's wood exports.

In 2021, Dong Nai Wood and Handicraft Association Association (Dowa) has implemented a project on sustainable forest product production and processing in Dong Nai province to 2025; coordinate and guide the members to conduct testing and classification of processing and exporting enterprises. To develop Dong Nai wood industry, Dowa has basically outlined a strategy to develop and promote international trade. It is expected that after the construction of Long Thanh Airport is completed, a specialized exhibition center and electronic trading website for wooden furniture will be built. Dong Nai will keep its position as the leading locality in the plan to bring the export turnover of the wood industry from US$10 billion to US$20 billion in 2025 according to the target set by the Government.
